First Snow

A whitetail buck stands alert in a hushed winter woodland — bare trees fading into a soft, snow-misted background, the quiet before the season settles in. Rendered in charcoal with extraordinary detail, from the texture of the buck's coat to the delicate tracery of frost-touched branches overhead. One of a kind, signed by the artist.
